LOVE MEDALLION
Materials
• Yarn
• Macaroni
• Gold spray paint
• Small-size margarine lid
Standard Supplies
 Poster board
 Colored felt pens
 Pencil
 Glue
 Hole punch
 Scissors
 Measuring stick
 Newspaper


Preparation: Trace around margarine lid to make circles on poster board-one circle for each child. Cut our circles. With felt pens ,letter ‘LOVE’ on each circle. Punch hole at top of circle. Cut a 24-inch (60-cm) length of yarn for each child .Place macaroni on newspaper in a well-ventilated area and spray with paint.

Instruct each child in the following procedures:
 Glue macaroni around edge of circle medallion.
 With teacher’s help, push end of yarn through hole and tie for necklace.

Enrichment Idea: Older children may copy the letters onto poster board themselves;
